Just felt like posting a few of the pieces I've been working on for my next show at Artists House in November. Stepping away from the rigid series approach that I've taken for the past few and just sort of free associating instead. It's interesting to see as the group is coming together. Anyhow, here's a sampling
"I still think about then but I never think about her", 16x20, oil on panel
"Would I see you next to me?", 20x20, oil on panel
"View from the Carabela De Colón", 5x5, oil on panel
"We never talk anymore", 30x40, oil on panel

Fantastic pieces!
MR DAVE !
These are really wonderful.
Just brutally wonderful.
Really love how textural you are on these <3
the bird painting is sublime !!!
awesome, i need to do a portrait of you now
Dave, These are freaking AWESOME!!! Love the brush work and the energy behind them. Love the subject matter. Love everything about these new pieces.
These are are sublime, but that first one is simply brilliant. It's great to see you getting "thicker" with you paint and a little more textural. I'm totally inspired to go do the same!
Sweet stuff man! I was gonna say, that second one looks exactly like Owen...but i guess that's because it is! Nice!
Great stuff man ! You rock dude :)
Beautiful work!
I particularly enjoy the 2nd and 4th for their composition and theme.
Very nice! "The View.." reminds me of Egon Schiele (I'm probably spelling that wrong), don't know if that's way off...
They are all wonderful and unique.
My favourite is the birds - I love the colours - I love the brushstrokes - and I love birds.
But the one that affects me the most is the last - it brings tears to my eyes.
Great paintings and great style! Loved the first and the third ones specially...
wow, thanks everyone! I'll be posting some more as the show gets nearer :)
love them all Dave!
