Revisiting an abandoned piece...

I've had this lack-luster painting sitting in the corner of my studio a few months now, just had a sudden urge this afternoon to rework it and give her some life. Since finishing those pieces for the gallery, I've been thinking more about pushing the texture and edges in my painting, or at least exploring a little further with it. Good times :)

Her bottom looks flat (yes, it's round & curvy) compared to the post card pieces.

I want to put one of the little marmosets in my pocket and carry it around. It can bite the fingers of my enemies, slightly wounding them.
