Doc Savage - the Eye of Terror

Here's a brand new piece just finished for a private commission of Doc Savage. I had alot of fun with this one, I hope that it shows :)

This is obviously an old post, but I think this is very good. I'm usually disatisfied with the way Doc looks in art. In the old pulps, he looks too normal and not awesome enough. Bama's illustrations make him look too metallic - totally unnatural and inhuman. This is a nice compromise between the to.
